MPT Teams Up With A Local Tech Firm To Launch Tat Lan Online Education Service That Will Deliver Education To Everyone in Myanmar

Tat Lan Online Education Service helps bring a better future through various educational videos that are relevant to improve the competence and competitiveness of today’s Myanmar youth
(Yangon – 5th June 2019) – Technology, in today’s society, has enabled delivery of knowledge and education to happen anytime and anywhere. The youth in many parts of the world are now accumulating knowledge and skills not only within the four confines of a university classroom but in cyber classrooms as well. Cognizant of this global trend MPT, Myanmar’s first and leading telecommunications operator, forged an agreement with a local IT firm and content developer, Htut Company, to launch the homegrown educational platform, Tat Lan Online Education Service.

The Tat Lan Online Education Service, through the use of the Tat Lan App and Tat Lan Web Portal (http://tatlanapp.com), can deliver various educational video and courses such as General English Language, Business English, Information Technology, Uses of the Internet, Marketing Management, Arts, Music and other subjects to Myanmar youths and students who want to supplement their classroom learning or learn something outside of their curriculum on their own phase.

Video lessons are 100% organic from Myanmar and are not produced nor adopted from other countries. This way the lessons are taught in way that is tailored to Myanmar students and in a manner that is easily understandable. And because it is locally produced, learners can find out about the teachers on the video and addresses of training schools and private institutions where they teach. Another convenient feature of the Tat Lan App is that learners can also save their favorite video sessions to revisit and study them again at their convenient time.

Tat Lan Online Education Service is available to all MPT customers for a minimal daily rate 105 kyats for all contents and lessons. To subscribe this service, MPT customers need to send SMS “ON” to 8228 and get the download link Free of charge. Another option is to access it through Tat Lan Web Portal (http://tatlanapp.com) and Lo Ta Ya Web Portal (http://tl.lotayamm.com). Android users can download the application at the Google Play Store.

As a special promotion, MPT customers who subscribe to Tat Lan Online Education Service will have a chance to win 3 scholarships grand prizes worth 1 Million kyats each and 150 MPT top-up cards with each worth of 3,000 Ks as a promotion for period of 3 months starting from 5th June 2019 to 04th September 2019.
