10. If I mistakenly make payment of an amount different from the invoice amount through mobile banking. What should I do?

(a) If you made payment of more than the invoice amount, the excess amount will be adjusted (credited) to next month bill. Therefore, you will need to pay less in the next month.
(b) If you make payment of less than the invoice amount, you are still requested to make payment of the shortage amount with the same invoice number. Unless the invoice amount is paid in full, such invoice will be regarded as being outstanding, and MPT would close the line temporarily till full payment is completed.

(Yangon, 22nd June 2018) MPT, Myanmar’s first and leading telecommunication operator, announced that its users can starting from this month, pay their bills at any of more than 700 branches of KBZ Bank and CB Bank nationwide or through their respective mobile banking services.

To make payments at bank branch counters for MPT Bills including fixed line phones, ADSL, FTTH and postpaid mobile, customers just need to provide their MPT bill documents, either in hard or soft copy, and provide the bank’s cheque or cash for the billed amount to branch customer service staff, who will then process the transaction.

Customers who are registered mobile banking users with the respective banks, can access their account’s mobile app platforms with their smartphones and tablets to make payments. They just need to log into their banking accounts and select the appropriate MPT bill payment option, fill up the necessary information fields with the correct details (e.g. customer code, invoice number, invoice amount) and complete the transaction process.

When recharging through E Top-up or Top Up via MPT4U Application with scratch card, customers will receive a special bonus data allowance for use on Facebook, Messenger, Viber, Line and Instagram. The promotion runs until 31^st July.

All MPT prepaid customers can receive data bonus when they recharge at least 1,000 Kyats. The bonus varies and depends on the amount of the top-up. Subscribers can get bonus up to 5 times at the same time. When the bonus is used up or expired, user can get bonus again. Additionally, MPT customers who recharge with E Top-up on Friday will receive both Happy Friday Bonus and the Facebook Bonus.
